Already back in 2000, the .mobi TLD (Top Level Domain) was first conceived within Nokia. After that milestone, many other companies signed up to form the Dotmobi Joint venture. Dotmobi's current investors include Ericsson, Google, GSM Association, Hutchison, Microsoft, Nokia, Orascom Telecom, Samsung Electronics, Syniverse, T-Mobile, Telefónica Móviles, TIM and Vodafone.
